I eventually canabalized the center controller section of the drums and threw the rest of the drums in the trash after it became evident that nobody at my house would play on the plastic drums anymore.
Check out my latest mod, http://www.gameaholix.net/k1ds3ns4t10n where I modded a Rock Revolution controller to be used with an MSA-P to get full song charts in all games (RB1, RB2, GHWT, and RR) and activated the cymbal sounds in RB2.
